The "Off-Season"

It's September and we are nearing what is known as the "off-season." Basically it's the time of year where there are few, if any, trips. During this time Jon spends quite a bit of time in the office planning for the next year, scheduling trips, connecting with donors, and maintain gear. They also use this time to review the past year and make changes. This is also a time for much needed family vacations.

Our big focus right now is financial support for Jon's ministry. His job at Peak 7 is salary provided in part by Peak 7 and in part by donors willing to support his ministry. To be 100% supported he needs $916/month. Currently he is supported 25%, so he needs an additional $687/month. We are currently looking for donors to give on a monthly basis whether it's $50/month or $100/month or whatever they can afford to give. Every little bit helps and goes to help Jon serve with Peak 7.

This fall brings a lot of changes. Michelle just started her MBA program through Corban and so far is doing really well and is really enjoying the program. Peak 7 is also going through changes. They recently hired a Seattle area director and Jon's co-worker, Austin, will most likely be heading over to the Seattle office. This possible change will result in Jon going from a Program Coordinator to the Program Director and the hiring of a new Program Coordinator to work under Jon.

We appreciate your continued prayers and support. If you are not already a financial donor, please pray about joining our ministry and supporting Jon. Every little bit helps. Thanks and God bless.
